Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

If you are participating in a High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), you can also contribute to an HSA account. HSA savings accounts let you set aside money through payroll deductions on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical expenses such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. This savings account is yours, and you can keep the funds even when you leave your job.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

An FSA will let you pay for many out-of-pocket expenses with tax-free dollars. You decide how much to put into the FSA account, up to a limit set by the IRS. If money is left at the end of the year, it will roll over up to the IRS maximum for active participants to use in the following year, with anything unused over that value forfeited under the use-it-or-lose-it rule.

Supplemental Policies

Landrum offers plans for critical illness, accident, hospital indemnity, legal insurance, and a cyber safety benefit. These plans are payroll deducted while working with Landrum and portable if you leave employment. The critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity plans include a health screening benefit where cash is paid upon confirmation of a preventive screening, such as your annual physical.

Short-Term Disability

Short-term disability benefits provide financial support to employees who are temporarily unable to work due to illness, injury, or pregnancy. We offer voluntary and employer-paid short-term disability plans. Options include coverage periods of 13 or 26 weeks and a 7 or 14-day waiting period. When approved by a physician, plans cover up to 60% of an employee’s salary with a maximum weekly benefit.

Long-Term Disability

Long-term disability benefits provide financial support to individuals who are unable to work for an extended period due to illness or injury. Our Long-Term Disability insurance pays up to 60% of an employee’s salary, with a maximum of $6,000 or $10,000 per month, depending on the option selected. Plan options include either a 90- or 180-day waiting period. We offer both voluntary and employer-paid options.

Vision Insurance

A comprehensive eye exam can help find eye and general health conditions sooner! Our vision plans provide eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses when participating optometrists perform services. Additional discounts are also available through the program, including discounts on prescription eyeglasses and non-prescription sunglasses.

Dental Insurance

Our dental insurance plans cover preventative services, such as bi-annual cleanings, at little or no cost to the employee. Basic dental procedures, such as fillings, are covered by up to 90%, with major dental procedures covered by up to 60%. Orthodontic services are also available for you and your dependent children, depending on the plan choice.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to assist employees during challenging times. It provides confidential counseling services nationwide for stress, grief, loss, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and so much more. By calling 800-245-1150, you may schedule an appointment with a local network provider at no charge. The EAP program is available to employees and immediate family members for up to three visits each.

401(k) Retirement Plans

Landrum sponsors a multiple-employer 401(k) plan. Clients may adopt the plan and customize the eligibility requirement, vesting schedule, matching contribution, and profit-sharing option. A Safe Harbor plan design is also available. Landrum HR Solutions is the plan trustee, fiduciary, and sponsor. There is no cost to the client, other than the employer contribution, if elected.

Life Insurance

We offer a variety of employer-paid and voluntary life insurance plans. Voluntary life insurance is in increments of $10,000 up to $1,000,000 (or 5x the employee’s salary), with a guaranteed issue of $200,000. Spouse voluntary life options are in increments of $5,000 up to $250,000, not to exceed 50% of the employee policy, with a guaranteed issue of $50,000. Grief counseling and claims assistance are included in all plans at no additional cost.

Virtual healthcare (telehealth) is an added medical benefit offered at no additional cost to employees enrolled in one of Landrum’s non-HSA health insurance plans. There is a small co-pay for employees enrolled in a Landrum HSA plan. The virtual healthcare (telehealth) program extends to immediate family members, even if they are not enrolled in the health plan.

Landrum supports every type of growing family. Good-standing employees who have completed one year of full-time service and who adopt a child through a state-approved agency may be reimbursed up to $500 for legal fees incurred in an adoption.

To request reimbursement, please submit a written request to the Landrum HR Benefits Department, along with documentation of adoption and expenses.
