Florida Sterling Council Announces Ted Kirchharr Of Pensacola as Board President
Tallahassee, Fla. – October 30, 2009 – Ted Kirchharr of Landrum Companies in Pensacola, Florida, begins serving his term this month as president of the Florida Sterling Council Board of Directors. The Florida Sterling Council is an organization that operates under the Governor’s office and is overseen by the Sterling Board of Directors to promote economic development and a high quality of life through organizational performance excellence. During his one‐year term, Mr. Kirchharr will guide the council to further its mission of creating a state of excellence.

Mr. Kirchharr holds a Master's of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. In 2003 he joined Landrum Companies as Director of Strategic Initiatives. Promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Landrum Professional in 2006, Mr. Kirchharr is responsible for several key departments within the company including strategic planning, benefits administration, risk management, human resources and marketing. The company is ranked among the top 25 best small & medium companies to work for in America for the fifth consecutive year.

Kirchharr has helped hundreds of organizations in their own pursuit of strategic planning, quality control management, organizational development, leadership training and employee retention.
